yea,

i tinted the top portion of my windshield. it's much better then using the actual sun visors. i have it at 5%. call me a freak, but i did so that the sun visors dont block the side curtains airbags if deployed.

got any pics?
that seems horrible cause you'd have one solid block instead of it fading in/out

I do mine in all my cars/trucks. i hold things with my sun visors and was always getting pissed off when they fell into my lap. My tint guy one bad noticed i always had the sun visors down and he gave me the idea. I think it looks good too.

I'm not quite following your logic. How does tinting the upper portion of the windshield (in front of you) help with the visors not interfering with the side curtain airbags (above the door windows on your side)? The tinting may save you from having to flip down the visors in front of you (possibly increasing visibility) and they would not interfere with the side curtain airbags in their upright position.

hey sarge,

u missed where i said 'call me a freak'! haha.

j/k. a portion of the side curtain airbags comes out of the a-pillar. i am sure the engineers have accounted for this when they decided to place the visors where they are. but u never know, life and death can come down to the smallest of measurements.
