Default Tornado Air

Does the Tornado Air work for the Is350? Have anyone actually tested it for the IS?

I don't know of a case personally (and oh do people ever buy that Tornado down here) for any vehicle where it worked. I noticed in a magazine down here a guy with a Civic, really nice, that listed this device. He runs at my track and I told him to try removing it...he did... .3 faster in the 1/4 mile

Well, the way gas prices have been going in cali, it's getting harder and harder to afford gas. They say it'll reach to $4 a gallon in Cali (and sadly, Cali only) by summer. Hooray for $60+ gas fillups for our 2IS's.

lol, we live in the same region, remember ?

$60 per fill-up for you, huh?

My first month of ownership which was pretty much March, I spent $160 on gas.

April, I resisted my temptation on WOTs, and after my shopping cart damage incident, I stopped going to grocery stores for no reason.

This brought my gas spending down to about $120, and I still do WOTs every now and then.

It's honestly not that bad if you have a job that lets you afford an IS, and if you don't drive like a hooligan.

True. For me, I only fill up gas two to three times a month so that will translate to something like $100-150 a month. However, for those that need to fill up at least once a week (ie those who have long commutes to work)...that'll easily be $3000+ dollars a year.

lol, I guess I was ignorant there.

Forgot that mileage is an important factor here .

But nonetheless, I wouldn't install mods that affect the engine in any way...at least not for gas mileage.

Don't after-market intakes and exhausts improve MPG?

Some can, most won't. It's just a great excuse though to get significant other approval

Where in CA are you guys located? Gas here in the Sacramento area is near $3.50.. or was yesterday when I filled up. On my 17 gallon Lexus - that puts a fill-up at near $59.50... If you are filling up at closer to $50... that is nearly $2.94 per gallon... Where are you finding decent gas at that price?

They can, but it also depends on your right foot.
