I tried this, pulled out both fuses, waited 2 minutes, started up my car, didn't want to start the first time, 2nd time it worked. but i dont really notice anything reset? People say your Avg MPG. NAV, Radio should be reset?

Lol does this get rid of the check engine light or oil maint required?
haha

IME most Lexus/Toyota/Scion do not start on the first try and wait until the second try to actually fire. I've had one Scion buck the trend after a lightweight flywheel install requiring the battery to be removed. The other 7 I did failed to start on first attempt, but all started on the second key cycle.

Interesting Post. I have an '07 350 with about 50K miles on her. I don't know if the previous owner reset the ECU, but I want to do it know after reading this post. I think I will have Lexus do it on my next oil change.

hate to bring up an old topic...but i still dont see how this would effect engine performance, i can see how it would effect gear selection...but isnt that what paddle shifters are for and PWR ECT mode???

It doesn't really change engine performance. It changes how it drives, transmission behavior, and to the driver, the feeling in the butt dyno.

It's on the driver side fuse box. You're looking at the fuse box next to the battery. Fuse box located driver side front area.

Judging by your profile you're in the AU. Facing your engine steering wheel is on the Left Side, and Passenger is on the Right?

The fuse box your looking for is under the enging plastic panel passenger side towards the front of the engine. You'll have to remove it to see the fuse box.

Remember if you change any failed components, sensors, etc. Pull the negative terminal on the battery. For 15 minutes or so. Pulling the fuse just resets the ETC system, and DTC Engine Light. The learned Fuel Trims will not.
