From what everyone told me and what I read on all the forums, if you change out the run flats, the car will drive alot better. When I had my 03 SC430, what I hated was the harsh ride, and anytime you hit any kind of crack in the road, the car would follow it. And what I heard, it's the run flats that cause that. The other thing that bugged me about the car, was all the rattles from roof, and the dealership could not fix them, not that they didn't try. I just gave up after taking it in for the 6th time. But I wish you nothing but the best of luck with yours and hope you don't have the problems I did.

IMO the SC drives like a boat. The steering wheel is huge and lack response and feel. You are difinetly down grading in the "fun to drive".

I put my 19" wheels on the SC today and took the runflats off...IT IS A WORLD of difference. The car rides and handles so much better. I did like my IS! don't get me wrong but, it is too much like a go-kart to me. There is a big difference in quality and the roof rattles are not that bad especially considering the loud creeks that come from the dash of the IS. Also you don't have all of the road noise the IS had. The SC is a little floaty and it is not as stiff in the wheel but I am MUCH happier with the SC. I will post pictures after the crappy tornado weather ends.
