Default Navigation Help Please!

I have an IS250 2006 and my battery died Monday 2/18/13 and i had it replaced the same evening. I had to reset everything and etc. I reset the windows and the roof and the memory for the seats. I also resetted my navigation by removing the navigation disc and reinserting it. The reason i had to do this is because on the screen it would keep on displaying unable to read program contact a lexus dealer. So i removed the disc and reinsert it and everything works fine except the navigation does not allow me to enter a destination or to navigate to anywhere. When i click on the buttons like "address" it displays a message saying "no data for search area" and then it disappears. I try unplugging my battery and let the car drain by stepping on the brakes so there is no more power and i also let it sit for about 10mins and then i plugged the battery back in and reset everything once again. I still have the same navigation error. Please any help would be good. I have looked in the forum and have not found anything that solved the problem. I also looked on google for the past few days and no luck what so ever. The navigation pin pionts my location and follows me while i drive but it will not allow me to enter a destination. I am open to any suggestion. I did take it to a lexus dealer on 2/22/13 and they said i would have to come back 2/26/13 with an appointment to see the specialist and it will be a $120 fee just to take a look at whats wrong.
