Anyone Else's Navigation Reset?

My 06 IS350's navigation would reset once in awhile.. usually after I restart the car. All my presets are erased, and I have to set everything back up... has this happened to anyone else? How did you resolve this? Should I take it in for checkup or did I do something wrong?

Note: It seems like it happens after I do the Override trick, then shut down the car, come back later, and the system is reset.

i've done the override trick many times and that never happened to me

Sometimes mine has me positioned in the middle of the ocean. Not sure how or why it gets so far off but i have had to recalibrate it several times.

There is TSB for your navi pointing in the middle of the ocean. I just had my dealer replaced new disc for me.

So no one else's Navigation resets? Next service, I gotta bring it up to tech.

I use the nav override feature frequently. I've never had what you described unless I pulled the TV1 fuse. That reset EVERYTHING.

Well today the Navigation reset twice. I simply go into my car (82 degrees) outside, and when the screen is suppose to come on.. it resets. Loose fuse somewhere?

This usually happens when it's a hot day. Hmmm... It's more annoying than anything else.

only if you go in they will give you the updated nav disk and you won't be able to do the override thing

Same thing happened to me while I was on a trip. They replaced my nav disc under the TSIB and it fixed the problem.

I have to get my Nav disc changed today ... it's resetting nearly everytime I start my car. It's getting really annoying.

Curious what version disc was causing all these problems? And what version fixed it?

something strange happened to my 06 IS350 navi last week, i had destination set and all of a sudden while i am at traffic light, first audio turned off by itself and all i see on the screen was AUDIO OFF and then i tried to turn power on for Audio nothing happend and then screen went off, all i could see on the screen was "CHECK SYSTEM" Everything went off on the NAVI and tried pushing all the buttons, no luck....i pretty much got frustrated and turned the car off and on and everything back to normal....Has this happened to anyone before???

Everything is fixed now... first Westminster Lexus did a new Disc swap... but that didn't resolve the issue, it made it happen more often. Then I went back and they fixed it with a new Nav unit. It was buggy as heck.

Any update on that weird grinding noise coming from the front end? That didn't sound right at the holiday meet.....
