The weather in North Texas is getting better so I washed and waxed my car. comments welcomed. Working on my detail skills so all of you auto detailer gurus can chime in. Enjoy the pics!
The Detailers reflection shot. =]
Also, just to add, should I add a spoiler or not?

That looks nice ..... spoiler or no spoiler ...... the rear contour of the IS series is so nice without it don't think i'll add one on mine.
What is that tint you have ....35%?
Another 6 weeks and i might have a clean car myself ,,,,, might.

Heck of a nice job! Absolutely beautiful.
And I say yes to the factory spoiler, have one on my IS350 and it's very nice.
I going to go the Klasse AIO, SG (2-3 coats) route on my Starfire Pearl IS, and then try the Pinnacle Souveran to see how it does with the depth of shine and how it affects the appearance of the pearl. A comparison will be easy to do, as the PS is the easiest to apply of all waxes.
Typically the PS is used on dark colors (my previous car was black and I have a good bit of PS left) but I've always liked it's look on light colors as well, giving them detailed and higher contrast reflections although giving up some brightness to synthetics.

You have the perfect plan. Klasse is the **** and so is souveran. My friend turned me onto Klasse and it's amazing. You will get a really wet nice look from it.
Souveran is just so damn expensive. I would stick with the Klasse.
Either way both your cars look great from these pics. Thats one thing that sucks bout my color. smokey granite. even with klasse it doesn't get that real wet look like the black and pearls do.

omgggg zaino... i love zaino. i think if you want a car that literally has mirror-like reflections, you should get zaino. im gonna get some over the summer, when i get some time to do it cuz it like takes a whole day.

Vapor21, you should check out Klasse also. It looks all poser, like the name and the bottle it comes in , but it's great.
Poor boys makes great stuff too. I use their tire shine. Non oil based.
Pnice: looks great. You should def get the spoiler. Order it thru ebay and it will ship straight from sewell. Don't screw it on either. Just use the 3m tape.

Looks good. I did mine last weekend!
1. Dawn wash
2. Clayed
3. Z-7 wash
4. Z-2+ZFX polish with PC7424
5. Hand buff
6. Z-6 by hand
<rest><beer>

6. Z-6 by hand
<rest><beer><admire>
I did the inside with Aerospace 303 (vinyl+plastics) and Leather-Only (leather) while the first coat of Z-2 cured.
Took 4 hrs but the Matador is so sexy when it is clean and shiny.

Very clean. I can't wait til the spring to fully detail my car. It needs it SOOOo badly. Its just too cold. I've got a zaino kit just sitting, and I need to get some new pads for my PC. But I can't wait. I've already seen a few nasty rock chips that will need attending too....
Looks nice!
