Instead of drilling a hole in the fender is there a way to rewire the puddle lamps to work as a side marker? I think it'll look cool, at least everything is already set up. I'm not electrically inclined but can it be worked as both a puddle lamp and a sidemarker at the same time?

It's possible, but it would be funny to see the turnsignals work as you approach the car...

I think he meant to re-wire it completely to make it turn signals only.

Innovative. I think it'll work, but it's not bright enough for people to see. Especially during the day. Since the puddle lamp is facing downward.
