This is my first post so go easy on me. Are you guys referring to the running lights/highbeams? Is that what the D4S's are? Or the main headlights? I'd like to upgrade the drl's/highbeams and the parking lights that are up and to the right of those. I've been reading the threads for days on this and as soon as I think I have it figured out, I'm confused. I thought the drls/highbeams were 9005's or something. Can someone clarify this and if so, let me know where I might find the drls/highbeams and parking lights on the internet? I'm looking for the white look with a possible bluish tint to match the main headlights. Thanks in advance.

PIAA's are a POS.

I bought two sets of regular 9006 bulbs for my other car and my g/f car. Both cars bulbs burnt out in less than a year. During installation I DID NOT touch the bulbs at all.

I would stay away from PIAA.

I would not want to be the first person to try out their expensive D4S bulbs.

D4S/R is for your main HID headlights, DRL/highbeams is 9006/HB4 and parking lights is 168 wedge light bulb. There is a seller on ebay selling 168 194 Refractor 5 LED (HID White) Wedge Bulb, it's very close to your request white/bluish color and you can see how it looks like on this forum https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...t=191875....:p

You should consider JDM Bellof HID D4S HID light bulb, it's very well known in Japan and they are builded for high-end cars. The price range is between $473 to $620 just for the HID light bulbs. It's not CHEAP but it's very loyal on life time... I just ordered one last week...

Correction: DRL/High Beam is 9005, not 9006. The fog lights, however, are 9006

Has anyone changed out their drls? If so any brand preferences? It seems I can find info on every friggin bulb but that one. Just ordered my refractor 5-led from ebay, but want to do the drls while I'm in there. Anyone, anyone?? (and they are 9005's, just checked the manual).

yes, high beams are 9005. I personally used silverstar ultras. Do a search for drl or high beam and you will find what you wanted

How do you like those silverstars? Do they give off a minor bluish tint and no yellow? I was looking at the luminics titanium white on ebay for 40 bucks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...1403&rd=1&rd=1 what do you think?

I was also thinking of doing the fogs in the same bulb (9006) to match.

the silverstars are bright white but it really doesn't matter if it has a blue tint or not....my high beams are never on unless i use them so its different than the parking bulb which stays on when the low beams are on....for the parking bulb, yeah you want it to match quite well.....other than that, when my DRL's are on, it is yellowish but less yellow than stock DRL's but you can't do anything about it with any bulb since the power for the DRL's is like 20% or something of the high beams

iskcon, first off, thanks a mill for all your help. One more question referring to the main headlights...the sticker than came on my window says "High Intensity Headlamps with Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS)." Is that the discharge bulbs (D4S) or the halogen bulbs (H11). And which are better?
