Default RPM drops

Ever since i have getting back to driving my car after two weeks in the garage due to heavy snow; i have noticed that at about 45mph, if i let go of the gas pedal, my RPM dropped down for about 500RPM before it went back up to where it was, i.e 45mph, 1800rpm, dropped down to 1300rpm and went back up to 1800rpm. Also, the transmission is a little rough too, or maybe i am just paranoid.

Has anyone else has this issue? is this normal under cold condition or should i bring it to the dealer to have them check it out? Thanks in advance for your input.

Sounds about normal to me. Let off the gas - it drops to 1300, then downshifts, forcing an RPM surge, then it drops again. Did you notice a downshift? Try it with the gear shown on the display.
