Went to the dealer, got some rattles fixed. Drove home and realized the nav is all out of whack, so I let the dealer know and they told me theres a new version update out. I said ok, they update it for me, I drive off and everything works....BUT NOW I cant get into the Nav override screen. Any other ways of doing an override besides doing the whole volume screen and touching the corners? Any help would be appreciated.

The volume screen using the corners is the only technique I really use when necessary... I dont do it all the time, just when I know I will need to use the nav when driving...

What disc do you have now?

 

He's updated the firmware with the fix to 1650. No nav override on that software build that anyone has found yet.

 

Anyone from Lexus Service department on the forums? They should know of an override, no? I'm gonna try asking the service guys when I go in next time. I'll keep everyone posted.
