it's finally here!
 

got the call this morning, that my is350 is arriving at the dealer.
will pick up on friday.
so after work i figured let me see it while it's still a virgin.
i get to the dealers, and see an is 350, like mine sitting in front of the showroom, all detaled. i see that my saleguy is busy and i see another guy i'm friendly with and ask him if it's the one.
he gets the key and i look inside, and it's kinda dirty, also the sticker has been retaped on. i check the manufacture date on the plate inside the door and it states 11/06.
so i'm thinking WTF.
now remember that a month ago i was supposed to get delivery and they damaged one shoveling snow.
so when my salesman gets free i check with him and he says,no that's the damaged one.
mine is in the back getting prepped. he takes me to it, an i chat with the guy detailing the car.
i check the manufacture date, and see that mine is a newer on made in 12/06.

so what should i be getting besides the keys, i.e manuals, dvd, etc.

My car was suppose to arrive at the dealer TODAY but, the F***in storm messed up the delivery date. Now, I don't know when I am getting....:( I hate stupid winter storms now!!! :wild:

i truely sympathize.
this winter in denver has screwed my car plans to.
it's suposed to snow again on saturday. hence the friday pickup. normally i never would take delivery on a friday.

Uhh...dude, shouldn't you be used to this? Did you not move from an area famous for winter storms, lake effect snow, and generally sucky wintertime weather?

Yea, I am used to it in terms of being in cold weather for long time. But, now that it's F***ed up my delievery date for my car than we have a problem.....:D

That's why I'm starting not to like winter storms, but I still prefer cold weather over hot/humid crap.....

Did you check out the repair job on the damaged one? Is it being sold at a discount, or with a disclaimer that it was damaged/repaired?

About what to expect at delivery - they usually give you a little "gift", like some Lexus coffee mugs, etc..

yeah i saw the repair. looked fine. but like my original thread in dec. i want anew "perfect"one.
there was no disclaimer on the car and no price other than the sticker.

to those waiting. mine was not a spec order, just allocated. first time it took 5 weeks, and this one also took 4-5 weeks.
the only thing is my first choice was SGM with sterling.
oh well TP is fine also, won't show thw rocky mountain pebble dings

I just called my F***in dealer and he said the car is still not in!!! :eek2: It is suppose to come from Chicago to Cincinnati, which is like 4hrs by truck!!

The most disturbing part was when he said the driver might be making other delivery's or might be "hangin out with his girl"!!! I was like WTF!! :eek3:

I'm so sad right now...:cry:
