Check the FAQs, there is a link there with the whole procedure. It's pretty straight forward.

It's also in the owners manual, and has been posted here dozens of times. A search for "maintenance light reset" is just one of many search keywords that would pull it up for you.

I don't think Bichon was lecturing, just pointing you to the search feature where you might be able to track down answers to your questions.

Does someone have a case of the Mondays?

Default Reset procedure not working

This is very strange! I press in the tripometer reset, hit the start button twice to get to the ignition on mode and the only thing that occurs is my tripometer resets. The oil maintenance reminder stays on. Does anyone have any idea what I must be doing wrong here? TIA!

Use the button to show the odometer before shutting off. Shut off. Press and hold the button down. Press the start button twice. You'll see the dashes appear and disappear one at a time. When they are all gone, release and the odometer will appear.

Thanks, man! That was the trick...start at the odometer and not at the tripometer. All clear now! Thanks again!!
