Default psss... pass along (my weathertech experience)

after seeing more than usaul weather tech ads out and about for the weather change, i thought id share for those considering Weather Tech, they were horriable; the sides folded over and everything just leaked out. the drivers side is a nightmare to get hooked and released. made stains i cant get rid of. the company would do nothing, they didnt care. just saying, this was my experience and im passing it on.

Strange because I never had any of those problems, although if you let it fill up with a lot of liquid i could see it being difficult to unhook them and tilt them over to dump the liquid. I've always used weather tech in my cars and they have kept the carpet looking perfect. Also, if you have salt stains on the carpet you can spray a little vinegar on them and let them sit a few minutes than screw with soap and water, that should get them out, it may take a few applications.

I have weather techs and my fronts dont have this problem. My rear seats sides will roll like you stated. To fix this, take them out of your car on a hot day and flip them inside out. Let them bake in the sun for an hour or so and flip them back. The heat from the sun should fix the rolled sides.

I'm using the OEM all weather mat's. If you want to keep threm looking new. Wash them with car wash soap. Regular dish washer soap is hard on rubber.

The problem for me with lots of Chicago snow, is the oem mats do not cover the dead pedal and salt/water gets to the carpet between the pedal and the mat. Weathertech solves this by partially covered the dead pedal, this is the biggest advantage for the mats, other wise i too would use the oem mats.
