Default PIAA Tera led bulbs 9005

Has anyone ever tried these for their DRLs..they say it would only function as city lights and not effective high beams but that wouldn't really matter to me as long as it makes my DRLs white instead of ugly yellow. thoughts anyone?

why getting one of these? when your fog is bright enough and you change it to LED? Just for fun!?

You know... I almost went with a full set of the PIAA Tera LEDs for the fog, hi-beam, and parking/daytime light, but I was chilled by my friend who works in a PIAA distributor.

My friend told me PIAA got the name and the design, but it actually won't last long based on his clients' feedback. He actually recommend me to use some no-brand leds but I did not take the offer because I am a JDM fan.

I am confused now... but I did take his advise seriously.

Also, depending on your vehicle setup, sometimes blue lights makes it ricy!.

i wasn't planning to put them in my fogs but my high beams so i can be free from the ugly yellow drls. because any aftermarket 9005 bulbs no matter how white they are will still be yellow because drls run on half power. so in theory...if leds are at half power it should still be white.

Not a success,DRL were half powered with Hi Beam when it ON.The only way you can go around is turn off the DRL by dealer ( I doubt they will do it for you ). Or you can have PIAA or RAZO for Hi Beam, that will be bluish white which I did on my IS.Since you are in NJ, AUTOFREAK had a lots of choice for lights that you can go with.

I would assume if you put LED for high beams, it would be white because LED's don't need that much power to be powered.

I am actually in the process of trying this, just waiting for my products to be shipped out.

I just installed the LED for the DRL/Highbeam, and for the highbeam, it's pretty much useless, but you still got the HID to make it highbeam, as it will aim higher a bit.

Anyways, without the HID's on, they are just a bright dot, which is nice, since it's not yellow anymore. Will post pictures later.
