So here is the deal.

I am planning to get an IS with the Starfire Pearl / Cashmere combo.
I think the IS looks very sharp in white and it keeps the car cool in the summer.

Some of my friends are giving me a hard time saying that this color combo makes the IS look like a chick car (no offense to people who have this color combo).

What do you guys think?

Do you think there is such stigma with white cars?

When looking for cars, my mother thought the Pearl white color looked great. She said it matched her purse Then again it is a unique color rather than having the cookie cutter silver, black.

Everyone I talk to about cars says the IS is a chick car period. May be true because I have seen about 20 or so in the last year and every one has been driven by a woman and all were 250s except one.

Get Starfire Pearl with Black Interior like me! So sexy.

Today I went into Tustin Lexus to buy their leather conditioner in my IS and one of the salesman says to me that my car is rare. At first I thought he was being sarcastic, but then he said that they never get Starfire Pearl on Black in. He told me likes of people like this combination.

NO it's not! I'd date a guy who drives a IS no matter WHAT color it is because it shows he has GOOD TASTE. Period. 'nuff said.

I have to admit, I wanted a white car (either IS350 or 530i), and then I was told by my gf that it would make me..... how should I put it... look like I play for the other team... not that there's anything wrong with that... uh...

I didn't know there was that stigma about white cars until I heard it from her and her brother who are both pretty into cars, especially exteriors.

i have a starfire pearl with black interior as well.... but starfire with cashmere ..hmm .. thats a tough one. depends how confident you are with your sexuality. lol. just because a lot of girls drive white cars doesnt mean it is a girl's car. it just means that chicks dig white cars =)

and speaking from experience, chicks DO dig a white IS ! if you get tint, it wont be as easy to see that it is cashmere. but i still think cashmere looks great on starfire pearl. i think that combo means you are clean-cut and possibly metrosexual(joking).

but anyway, i always get off topic. bottom line: starfire pearl with cashmere is a little bit girly, but its up to YOU to make it a man's car. how? try fixing it up or something ... or give it a tattoo . and maybe pour in some beer along with the 91 premium fuel. ..watch monday night football with your car.

on the other hand.. white with cashmere interior is HOT!!!!
