Maximum torque at low rpm is very important for acceleration, but having a flatter torque curve can be just as good,...more suited to the IS automatic.

You have to be crazy to spend over 50gs on a regular 3 series Bmw.. I'd still rather have the M3.. Especially for ppl that live in warm climates, turbo-charged engines are such slugs on hot days.. Also, I highly doubt they lied about their car having 50 hp less, that's totaly ridiculous... If anything, they would rather tell the truth about this car and lie about the new M3, since i'm sure many more ppl will buy the 335i then will the new M3...

We'll see what kind of lease offers they start to offer on this car... I would get the car that the lease offer is on.. probably be a 45k model.

For the $680 people are paying per month on the is350.. you can guarantee you can get an equally prices bmw for much cheaper via lease...

The lease offer is out on the site.

http://www.bmwusa.com/vehicles/3/335...=4&duration=36

$3500 down. $529 month. THis is for a 42k 335i

All BWM factory programs get about that due at signing.

they lied about the Hp is because of the current M3, since the E46 is still sitting at dealers, if the 335 have more hp then the E46 m3, who'll buy it?

People get one thing STRAIGHT! You CANNOT compare the IS350 to the 335i!! Because IS is a luxury sedan w/ sheet loads of HP/Torque, while the 335i is a sporty coupe! I dont understand why people make this mistakes? When the 330i came out, everyone started comparing it too the IS350 and now that the 335i is out...another comparision!?

Its ridiculus to compare!

By the way, the 335i is making 300lb-ft @1400-5000RPM, which means that it makes 300 @ 5000 and NOT 1400. There is no way you will get 300 at 1400 SHARP.

It is a fact that the 335 engine is making 20-30rwhp and 70-80rwtq more in peak than the IS350 engine. It is a fact that it is making more than 100rwtq at 2000-2500 rpm over the IS350. The dyno sheet shows 250rwtq (300lb-ft) at 1700 RPM and 300rwtq(350lb-ft) at 2100 RPM. It is a fact that the 4 door 335 is coming out and it will still be faster than the IS350. You dont have to be soo defensive. Its the cycle of life.... someone will always be faster than you.

Facts? If you're going to point out "the facts", at least make sure you have your information correct.
