IS250 Power
#18
I find that my IS250 AWD has more than enough power for my daily commute. When deciding which car to buy, I knew for sure that I did not want a "sports" car, but what I did wanted was a "sports luxury" car with power, safety, and winter driving capabilities. The IS250 AWD was definately for me, and I have no regrets.
The 250 AWD has just enough power to give it that sports car feel and it handles like one too. Combined that with all the ammenities and luxury options that it comes with, its the perfect "sports luxury" vehicle.
If I wanted power and a true sports car, I wouldn't go for the 350, I would've gone with a Corvette or a S2000 (something along those lines)....just my 2 cents.

I've driven on both coast for 24 years, in all that time when I'm at a stop light 95% of the time, I'm way ahead of the traffic once the light turns green so most cars are more then fast enough for average daily driving. So the people that say they NEED power, it is in your head. Don't get me wrong POWER is nice but you don't need it.
The IS is a nice car but it lacks the fun factor. The paddle shifters are only good for downshifting to keep the revs up in the corners, but there is no matching revs. Frankly the IS automatic is no fun.
The best thing about the IS , it looks sweet that is why I bought one. A S2000 is in my future plans for FUN.
