After waiting for several month I finally got my 07 IS350. Black on black. It's been a couple of weeks and I've really enjoyed it. I don't miss my G35 coupe at all. I've already install the black pearl emblems and front spoiler and tinted the windows. Now I'm just waiting to get wheels and tires. I hope to post pictures when the weather is nice and I manage to wash it. It's been too cold lately but I'll post some soon.

how is the road noise and comfort of the low profile tires? Is it as rough as a BMW? I assume the tires are not run flats.

I thought these vehicles came with wheels and tires.

At any rate, congratulations. I may do the same thing next year, i.e., change from a G35 coupe to an IS350.

 

I also had a MY05 G coupe, probably the worst car I ever owned. I would say the interior was up to par with an altima. Although the VQ was mediocre, everything else about the car pretty much sucked. The exterior was the only thing that made me actually want the car. Worst decision ever.

 

I'd have to agree with you on the G not being a great car. I had fun driving the G but I took it to the dealer way too many time for rattles and little things like that. The car looks great from the outside but it did lack that "luxury" status.

To answer the other questions. I'm thinking about buying some 20" wheels but I haven't made up my mind on which ones to get. I had some 19" Volks on my G but I'm going for the 20's on the IS.
