Default Alarm went off tonight

Was working late tonight and heard the alarm go off. According to the manual, alarm would be set off by a door or trunk being opened without a key. It still seemed to be locked, and I could not find any sign of damage or entry. Its a cold rainy night out, so I expect most folks (crooks included) are in tonight. I am inclined to think it was a false alarm. Anybody else have their alarm go off for seemingly no good reason ?

Mine did but it was because I was leaning on the panic button in my pocket.

Good observation 9520.
I just prooved the panic button can transmit about 40 feet through my house and to the garage and set off the alarm. I was a fair amount further away than that at the shop, but I suppose it is possible the button was pressed in my pocket and set off the alarm. Going to try to set it off again tommorow from my desk.

I've set it off hundreds of feet away from the desk in my office. I've also come out to find the windows open, again due to accidental pressing of buttons by other keys in my pocket. (Which is why I had the dealer disable the ability to open the windows from the key fob)

Hold the unlock button for a while and you will see them go down.

The key fob has an extremely strong signal strength... something that I'm appreciative of. I always make sure to take the key out of my pocket whenever I'm chilling on the couch, just in case.

The sad thing is that the leather key condoms that come with the car do nothing to prevent this. If I were designing them, I'd add an additional flap of stiff leather covering the buttons that swings out of the way (like opening a notebook) on the rare occasions when I need to access them.
