What do you hate about your IS?
Hate is too strong a word, but I'm not happy with the sound of the base stereo. If ML had been available I'd have bought it, but it is special order only in the northeast, and I didn't want to wait four months. If I had it to do over, I'd have found an ML equipped car in a different region and had it shipped.
I wish the car had better steering feel. It's definitely a notch below the German competition.
I wish the IS350 had been available with both a manual transmission and all wheel drive. I really enjoyed the combination of big power, all wheel drive traction and a manual tranny in a couple of my previous cars (AWD Eagle Talon and Audi S4), and would have preferred it in my IS too.
The rest of my complaints are rather minor:
Fuel door release button not lighted
Safety nannies (e.g., blocking out song titles, caller ID, etc.) are too intrusive

yea, that was a fun one. that was when i had my car on order. then i got it 2 months after. and i hate it! i disagree though, it is not a flaw. i would design them facing up, knowing that americans are gonna fill that console with everything known to man. possibly in japan, every adapter is 90 degrees. or possibly samsung forsaw the IS having this port and making their AC adapter a monstrosity.as you can see, i do not have the SiK adapter yet.
I hate the Haters who are hating on my IS becasue:
- it's a IS350 and has no manual tranny
- has a small back seat
- has brake dust on the rims
- has Nav & ML and doesn't play DVD while moving (yet)
- it's a '06 and has the Nav override
- goes 0-60 < 5.3 and 1/4 < 13.8 in pure stock form
- etc, etc, etc (plug in any of the usual threads in CL here)
Bottom line, would do it all over again in a heartbeat . . .

There is nothing I hate about my IS350. It's a perfect car!
However, I would like following things for IS350:
- AWD
- Manual Transmission
- Ability to input on NAV while driving. Although this can be done with some hacking, it would be nice to have this come from factory. I had Acura TL w/ Nav before IS350, I can input stuff on Nav while driving. This is not a big deal though.
- A little more aggressive suspension with sport package. It would be nice to have a little more lowered ride than current 0.5" drop with sport suspension.
Other than those, I don't see anything wrong with this car. It's a perfect car! I love driving it!

1. Brake dust - very excessive.
2. Door stops when swinging the doors open. The door stops don't catch when you throw the door open. Then door comes right back at you and slams shut. Not convenient when your hands are full trying to exit your car.
