To save $3,000, I would have looked at the service manual (TIS) to see if there is a way of disabling the headlight washers entirely. I'm guessing that there must be either a solenoid valve or second washer pump that causes them to spray at night; disabling the feature might be as simple as pulling off a connector.
For that much money, I would have SNAPED it off myself!! clink clink..

Yup, except it wasn't special order... I happened to stumble across an almost identical car sitting on the lot! Bought it on the spot... I'll post pics in a new thread shortly...
C'mon Technique, you're handy, if you're willing to do the Nav hack with a switch, you could've figured out the right wire or fuse to pull to kill the HW. Why can't these opportunities fall into my lap (LOL) . . .
