Can anyone reccomend a place to get my car tinted in South Florida? Also, how dark do you hae yours and do you wish you went darker or lighter?

I cannot answer you question about the tint shop in S. Florida but I can respond to you question regarding my tint. I went with 27% which is legal limit in Colorado. At times it appears "dark enough" but generally if I could do it all over again I would have gone for like 18% range. I was more concerned with getting hassled by the cops, but I really think I overestimated how much that would occur.

 

I think it all depends on the film really. I remember getting one car a certain way and got it on another car and it didn't look as dark(different shops, different films). My 35/20 is not dark enough for me although I thought it would be borderline in terms of darkness/cops but in reality, it isn't. Cops have pulled next to me without even a second glance.

 

J and R Electronics. its on bird road and like 97th avenue. they charged me $100 to do my IS350 and they tinted it all the way to the edge of the windows. came out perfect.
