Now that's what I call a proper mod! Take a sick car, keep it squeaky clean, create a killer system (I have to assume it's very nice) and no one know's it's there...all I can say is WOW. You have skills!

thanks guys...
and Chuck, thank you again...the funny thing is your name first came to my attention i think oh...what...7 or 8 years ago? back when you had i think a monte carlo? or perhaps even before that...i remember i was talking to someone about whos knowledgable in the iAsCA field, and someones was like, "there is this guy chuck music..." i was like " that CANT be his real name lol" its a shame we never met up at a regional iasca show or anything...but I do believe this is not hte first time you have given me great info
compared to stock: the lexus stock system is one of the better stock sounding systems out there of course...and i think sound quality is all relaitve, so say if you are used to lisetning to a stock system on a civic, you will be more than happy wiht the system on the IS...but for me, or someone who is used to listening to after market systems, i still find it a bit lacking...
The main thing is that with the stock system, you still only hear the music, versus feeling it, and i dont mean just the bass part....i mean through out the spectrum..the stock sounds good at moderate volume, but when you wanna pump it up so you can hear hte snare drums on your check, or reall "see" the violin player on your dash, things start to come apart and no longer sound that great...
second is the imaging, using a center channel just sounds a bit artificial and restricted to me (this car did not have the center channel to begin with so stock imaging uses time delay).
third of course is subbass, there is no way to compare true subs wih the 8" free air on the rear deck
overall, how much an improvement is purely dependant on the person's ears and taste...to me, i think it warrants the money spent on an sq system...but whether or not YOU believe so i have no ability to say

Maximus - Get in touch with Bing or I if you'd like to hear the system.
Chuck - Yep, the 345 and 605....the 345 is bridged to power the front stage, but you may already know that since I think you and Bing have been talking back and forth about this. His goal was to feed about 200W to each front channel based on my 345's birthsheet.

i know what you are saying about kicks, infact, its what every customer says to me, so tell them to wait a week and see if it still bothers them, and everyon gets used to them in no time not to mention the tiny ones...people sometimes dont realize how sturdy kicks are, made out of solid fiberglass, you can even rest your foot on it haha
