I've seen some posted pics, and you'll find them MUCH faster by doing a search ("painted engine cover"). I just did this search, and found several. Of course, it did take almost as long as typing these three sentences.

It is amazing to me what some people consider bling to be "woth". I laugh every time I see an old, beat up Honda Civic drive by with a polished billet aluminum lower rear tie bar.

There is a member here who has a GFM IS and painted the engine cover GFM as well. Looked quite good actually, just don't remember who it was.

Onyx Black & Candy Red.. the red gets pretty deep.. shows the sparkle of the engine cover through the paint in the sun.

i seem to get lazy to post pics... i don't even have a hosting site yet. mine is just painted MR to color match and i painted the emblems black pearl, although they are pretty dark. the rest of the covers i got painted a black mica, i guess that's the same? but i'll try and post pics when i get the chance. or... you can just see it in person at the pasadena meet...
