Is there any way to get around special-ordering through Lexus if all I want is metallic interior trim in place of the wood trim standard in every package available in my zip (10709)?

Every 250 in my region comes standard with Auburn Bird's-Eye Maple wood trim.

yeah, i had the same issue.......i really dislike that trim, but just to get that one option i would have had to order the entire car, so i made the decision to live with it. Its not that bad, but I would have prefered the metalic.

 

You would have to find an allocated one or go to another dealership. Or just special order.

 

Can you just buy the metallic trim pieces and replace the wood trim with the metallic trim yourself?

 

nope... i asked about it... supposedly it is part of the entire door panel if you order it. sucks... i was trying to do it. now i'm just getting CF trim instead...
