A lot of people are going to start to need winter tires (perhaps rims too) in the next 1-2 months. Anyone think if we get enough people there could be some sort of group buy?

Tire Rack sometimes posts winter deals here (we can ask for one) but it's more of a special package than a true group buy. I understand we may have an additional tire vendor soon who may be able to do something (I can ask if there is enough interest).

Well I got the rims (extra set of the 18" OEM's), bought the extra TPSM's, and it looks like I'm gonna go with the Pirelli Winter 240 SnowSports.

Now the thing is.....DOES LEXUS HAVE TO INSTALL THEM??

Can anyone really confirm if Lexus has to charge me all that dough just because they have to scan the TPSM #'s into the computer?

Summer tires have worked for me for winters in Florida. As long as you don't get snow you'll be fine.
