Question Those who swapped OEM rims for G-Spiders/ISP Modes

A few questions for those members who swapped out their OEM 18's for the G-Spider or ISP Mode rims:

- Which tire center did you use (Dealer, Nat'l chain, Independent, etc)
- How did you get the wheels there (all 4 boxes will not fit in the trunk)
- What did you do with your OEM rims (Ebay, trade in, other)
- Any other tips or issues to look out for ???

Thanks for your input . . .

I just had mine done today.... Funny. I bought the G-Spiders through Sewell. The boxes will fit 2 in the trunk, 2 in the back seat. I had the Lexus Dealer do the swap for $140 total. The old stock wheels will go back to Sewell for a core charge of $400 (making the G-Spiders less than $100 each.

BTW, they look awesome on SGM.

they stopped that promotion already (aug 30th) according to the thread, maybe they will still honor it, the wheel deal + trade in was a very very good price

Just ordered mine today. sent a PM to Darrel he activated the promo code 20DTT just for me. I am sure he could do the same for you as well. My final cost came out to be $854.00 for G spyder with center caps at front door. He is also including the prepaid shipping labels to put my stock rims back in the box they arrived for the $400 credit. Darrel called me today and i should expect to see my rims on saturday.

Much thx Darrel thank you for the hookup and extending the aug. 30th promotion for me.

oh yeah the $400 credit is not instant tho. I believe he said they mail you a check in like 3-4 weeks kinda like a rebate.

we installed tires at takumi project $100(stock tires).
Have another car carry all my rims.
I sent the stock rims back.
One issue that we have to look at:
The new rims looks way better than the stock one.)

Did the $140 cover mounting, balancing and install ?
Did they also try to sell you on a 4 wheel alignment ???
The more I think about it, the more I may just go to Lexus . . .

isn't 140 a lot? They're just taking the tire off and remounting it.... costco used to do it for like 10 bucks a pop...

Discount Tire charges at least $100 to mount and balance 4 tires on 18" alloy wheels unless you actually buy the tires and / or wheels from them.
