One thing that should be mentioned is that 10 mm spacers probably can't be fully hub-centric. The spacer would be hub-centric, but the wheel wouldn't be. It has to do with the lip on the hub sticking out about 10 mm already, so it prevents the spacer from having a lip as well.

The ones I got made are fully hub and wheel-centric. They have the lip machined into the back of them, and also have a lip mirroring the one on the hub on the side that mounts to the wheel. Just one of the benefits of having something custom-made...

True, but I doubt he would have been able to make them fully hub-centric if you wanted 10 mm. You went with 13 mm in the front, right?

Close, he went 12mm. You would have to see the back of my spacers/adapters , they are pretty elaborate - it's definitely not a typical spacer. I would take pictures so you guys could see but they're already on the car! I did put some in my gallery, though - you can see those by clicking the link in my signature.

Usually he does everything via internet – you order it, he makes it, for whatever you want. I emailed him last weekend with all the info on what I was looking for, and he called me Monday morning. Since I am so close to his shop, Fred said that if I wanted, I could bring in my IS so he can measure and make sure that everything will fit perfectly and spec out to my liking. So I took him up on his offer and drove over to his shop this afternoon. Once there, Fred, Kevin and I took measurements and jacked up the front end of the car…

And examined the both the hub and the wheel to determine exactly what kind of adapter the IS requires. Kevin got right to work…

… and machined a wheel adapter to test fit on my car. We tested it on both the hub and the wheel, and it fit like a glove. Using our measurements, he machined three more adapters. Fifteen minutes later I drove away with a set of custom-made, high grade aluminum wheel adapters for my IS. We couldn’t install them because the stock studs are too short, so I need to find a place to buy replacement studs that are an inch longer. Once I get those replaced, I can bolt on my adapters and wheels. Here are some more pics…

And here are the pics of the drop from the Eibach Pro-Kit for flyfl1pguy…

No, I hadn't installed the spacers yet in that particular photo.

How is the tire wear? How many miles do you have on your EIBACHS?

Tirewear is perfectly even, and I've got about 8,000 miles on my Eibachs. So far so good.

They sure will. The fitments are identical (I've helped several people with 07's and can say with complete certainty that they'll fit).

I'm assuming George is who you spoke to at Fred's shop. I never met him (dealt directly with Fred and Kevin) so he won't remember me. They've made several of these already for 2nd gen IS's, so just be specific in what you ask for, tell him the measurements you want for the fronts and rears and you'll be good to go.
