That's it- as I said I think thought they were worth 300 installed- and got to enjoy them since March!

 

DEM that looks really great. the one on the grille from a distance still looks like chrome. i like that the black pearl is still shiny

 

damn i really want a set, but i'm afraid some lil punk kid is gonna like em too and swipe em off my car. i had a set of those red oem acura emblems on my integra and somebody took a screwdriver to it and popped em off... left a bunch of HUGE gashes in my trunk lid. my trunk lid looked like it had a happy face with hair for about 4-5 years till i finally shaved the entire trunk lid.

 

Thanks... it is just dark enough w/o looking too dark.... it is a great finish and I like it with the car color and tinted windows.

Off Topic: Do you think you can get a Group Buy up for some sort of Metallic Trim to replace the Wood Trim we have in our cars? I know a lot of people would purchase because we are not too fond of these trims.

Another wish come true, I'd be in for that as well as long as the price is within reason. Not a huge fan of the color of the stock metallic trim.

Emblems are due on the 24th from FedEx so hopefully installed by the 25th.

 

Anybody received their emblems? How hard to put on... and do you have pics? thanks.

 

Got mine, but its been raining here so I haven't had the chance to install them.

Maybe tonight if it doesn't rain this evening.

Only piece that seems hard to install is the IS350 since only the S and the 0 have pegs, the rest have to be lined up manually.

 

I called Darrel, he said the interior silver trims cost $400. OUCH!

Looking forward to seeing more pics of the black chrome emblems.

 

Have all my install materials together and its clear so far so I'm hoping to do it this evening when I get off of work.

$400 for silver interior trim is pricey, I'd consider buying a set if it was $250-275 however and it wasn't too difficult to install. Installing it could be an issue since you'd have to take apart the center console, armrests, etc which would suck.

 

The interior isn't hard at all. I can finish it in 7 minutes tops. Now..the price is hard to swallow. Oh well.
