Trunk won't open??
 

Hi all - first time poster, long time lurker. I've had my IS350 for about 2 months, and just recently ran into a problem. My trunk no longer opens unless I actually unlock it with the key! The other methods - unlocking with the key fob button, hitting the 'trunk release' in the cabin, pressing the button on the trunk itself - nothing works.

I have no idea what caused this - it hasn't given me any problems before. I was going to take it to the dealership, but wanted to poll the message boards first.

Ideas?

Did you check the valet button in the glove box? I think it's on the left side.

same thing happend to me, check the valet lock in the glove box. ^^^ beat me to it.
