Bugs or rain don't interfere, but you should not be using cruise in the rain anyways.
That's correct, since it uses radar waves, bugs and moisture should not hinder it's operation. I use cruise control in the rain when conditions permit.
I plan to order an IS soon and have been ambivalent about whether to go for the dynamic radar. There isn't one to test drive around here so I can't find out for myself how useful it may be. Has anyone been disappointed with the feature? Those who find it useful, how often do you use it?

Basically, just think of the number of times you're cruising along and had to cancel or reduce speed because someone moved into your lane or the guy in front slowed down. Then you had to resume the speed, or if you lost too much speed, speed up and reset the speed.
This just takes the hassle of constantly cancelling and resuming.
