Default 30% Suntec Tints on a Smoky Granite IS.

I got my windows tinted today with 30% tint. Looks pretty good. I would have liked for maybe 25% but its alright.

Nice... some shots it looks really, really light (like the fourth to last) and others it looks really, really dark (like all the ones after foruth to last).

Ya it depends which angle you look at it. The one thats really light is cuz of the front windshield... theres no tint and its a really bright time of day. Look at the garage. how white washed everything it. Camera shutter speed was at 1/400th of a second I think and its still captured that much light.

In person the darkness is pretty decent. I think the pic thats most accurate on the darness is this one.

Looks great! If you go for 25% tint, is it mean more darker or lighter?

It means a little darker. the percent ratings means how much light can pass through the film.

May I ask how much they charged you EBMCS03? Also did they have anything lighter that you saw. I really like your shade although my commute consists of the toll road and heavy ticket areas (irvine/newport) so I'm more concerned with protection than darkness.

They do. They have 45% and some other ligter ones. I wasnt interested so. I didnt really care to remember them. The same type of film I used had I think 5% 15% 30% 45% and some lighter ones.

The other films they carry they also had 50% which is even lighter. I chose 30 since the interior is black and it'll make it look darker. 15% would be waaay too dark for black interior.

Thanks! what was the total cost for your setup? I'll probably get mine done with them assuming you found no problems with the fit and finish especially with regards to the rear window and 3rd breaklight.

He took off the third brake light to do it. After watching him its too easy. nothing to worry about.
