Default Few random questions - Aus

Just wondering how to remove the dash to get access to the middle part where there is no button to put one there.

Also running 225/30/20 up front with SPC ball joints and BC Coilovers, what else can I run bushes etc to make the ride a bit softer. It just clunks hard everytime I go over a bump (Aus roads arent the best as well).

Also those who have the Number Plate hiders, how hard is the automatic install? Much room underneath to install. Also is the actual number plate holder itself removable as our number plates are different sizes.

Thanks

What spring rate are your BC coilovers and what dampening setting do you currently have them at? Sorry I've got no info for your other two questions. There is a thread on CL here about a hide-away license plate mod.

They are 10/8 and as hard as possible, just to stop it from rubbing on the front. Okay I will try find it.

I think you have stumbled onto the problem... If your wheels and tires are so big, and/or your car is so lowered that you need to run the shock dampening at full stiff to prevent rubbing then you are going to have a harsh ride. There is really no way to compensate for that, other than to raise the car enough to allow for the shocks to compress and rebound.

I'm on 225/30/20 up front and really low with my stiffness set to max on my Megan LP's. There's not much you can do. You can remove the entire portion of switches in the big square on the individual little open square. Try reaching from behind.

Hmm I should have possibly worded it better, softer is a poor choice. Should I replace the bushes for longevity? I understand that it will be harsh with the mods that are done, just checking if If there was anything else I could do that I may have missed.

Thanks for that, will give it a go this week.

You have the hidden plate Sffd, installation fine? Also is the plate holder removable?

I do have a hidden plate. I had to cut the radiator support down inside the lower grille. It took some time and custom work but my guys at the stereo shop did fine!
