Default Light under the side mirror

Just wondering if anyone tried to change the lights under the side mirrors? How difficult is it?? Can somebody tell me how?? I think it should look pretty cool with blue LED. Thank's!

I think it would look good with some brighter real white lights. Like a hyper white light.

I'm surprised they don't look whiter than they do. Supposedly they are LEDs, not bulbs, yet they look quite a bit more yellow than the LEDs that illuminate the rear license plate.

Regardless of color, I wish I could get them to come on sooner and stay on longer. By the time the puddle lights come on, I've already stepped in the puddle.

I vaguely remember the manual specifying these as 5W bulbs, therefore, not LED. They come on WAY too late for you to enjoy them anyways.

They're probably 168/194 bulbs in which both an led or a filament bulb will work.

yeah, i'm really disappointed in the puddle lamps. they turn on very late.. and you need to be quite close for them to activate.

my mom's 06 LS430 activates farther and comes on much quicker.. i love it. so disappointing now that i know what i'm missing out on.
