Default Question: stereo text scrolling?

I havent really messed with it yet, but is there a way to make the text scroll the name of the song. I know the Text button allows you to see what the name is, but it would be cool if you could scroll the whole song title. It's not really that important but would be cool.

It does. If you press it one more time it does give you the name of the song...Sometimes not all the time.

i would really like to know the answer to this one. i see the little triangle in the bottom right hand corner as if there would be a button to activate the scroll. i hastily pressed every button in the console to see if anything did it and nothing appeared to make it scroll.

It doesn't scroll. It's been discussed before, I think. Search for 'scroll'.
If the little arrow appears, press and hold the TEXT button to see the rest of the text.

Default scroll

I read that manual three times, and still couldn't get it to scroll. push the button, half a word is displayed, press it again, the other half is displayed. Grrrrrr.
Was a little disappointed that it didn't scroll, ok, truthfully, a lot of disappointment. Hell, I had to listen to my parents gloat that their 300M with a Chrysler/ Infiniti system scrolls titles, station ID's automatically.
Oh well I guess its the price we pay for a reliable radio, that dosn't crash

Only if the CD has CD-TEXT. Not all do. Try another CD

How can I get it to default to text all the time when listening to mp3s? I find myself pressing the "TEXT" button a number of times after startup to see the song title.

I don't have navi nor ML. Mine is located on the lower right side. It's a button that says TEXT.
