Default The best current APR now?

I just finalized the deal on a IS250 awd last night and am shopping around for rates for a 60 month loan. What has everyone else been getting lately? I was hoping for 5.5% or so, is it possible now? Any suggestions on where to look? My credit score was around 750 or so if that helps.

I will fill everyone in on the deal I received when I have some more time later today.

Thanks guys,

Brandon

Default 5.24 APR from Pentagon Federal Credit Union

I just got 5.24 for 60 months from Pentagon Federal Credit Union last week. All you have to do is open an accound and deposit like 25 dollars. I had other loans from them and they are easy to work with.

Your best bet would be getting a loan from a credit union. I got mine through my credit union for 4.99 APR for 60 months. Thats the lowest I could find at the time of purchase which was about a month ago. Hope this info helps

I agree. I had them for my past two loans and they are great! I was going to use them again but decided to pay cash. They were 5.24% a few days ago when I checked.

You have to qualify to join a credit union. Their website should have membership requirements. It depends if you are part of an organization, school, work, and even ethnicity.

DO SHOP AROUND...the institutions pulling your credit score/report won't effect your credit negatively if you do it all within a month span I believe. I think it may drop 1 pt or so total.

I got rejected by eloan of all places. I got approved by capital one auto and they are sending a check in the mail. I just checked Bucs Federal bank and they seem to think I can get a 6.75%. Lexus financing wants me to get a co-signer or the interest rate will be really "high" they say. It just seems to vary. I have average to above average credit but a good amount of credit card debt and student loans. Do check a credit union if you can join one. I just found one for my old university and will apply online.

Default Credit unions

I have been searching around locally and cant find anything under 6%? I dont believe I can qualify for the Pentagon FCU unless I am missing something? Also, how are you guys finding rates of around 5%? I have looked online and done the lending tree idea with them all coming in over 6%.

Any suggestions, I need to know ASAP beacuse I will be working the financing out in the next day or two?

Websites or credit Union suggestions would be awesome.

Thanks guys,
Brandon
