Excellent Write Up. Mods should sticky this thread for all the people who go with XD.

By the way, is there any word on the GB for this HID kit? I'm sure a lot of people would benefit from this group buy.

wow...just noticed...wash that thing!

back on topic...so how the heck do you get that other wire thru the hole in the dust cover if there's plugs on both ends?

Wow, that's a pretty detailed write up. Those are the new thin Phillips ballasts right? I installed a HID kit in my Integra and it had a ballast that was twice as thick as those. Then again, the igniter and ballast are all in one box.

(Is that Crystal White or GFM?)
Its a Crystal White, I only saw one GFM ever and that was at taste of lexus.

I know! I should wash it but it seriously won't stop raining here.. if I wash it, it just gets dirty again. The weather has been better lately so I will be washing it soon

Bagwell:

That white plug can be disassembled. The white plastic just houses two metal plugs. (First mark which side houses positive (white wire) on the plastic housing ) You can use an Xacto knife and pry the tabs near the center while gently tugging on the end of the wire and it should just slide out. Then once you feed those two plugs through the dust cover. Re insert the plugs and they should just snap back in. Make sure to put the postive wire in the correct spot. Then use a flat head skrew driver to push the gray rubber things on the wires into the end of the plastic plug. (<-- thats kinda not clear but if you have the kit it should be obvious.)

Thumbs up

Hi all,

Well, due to this thread and the positive feed back, I bought the 4300k phillips kit from Steve (XenonDepot). When it arrived, i found one of the bulbs damaged during shipping.. Normally, this is where most online vendors would dissappear or drag their feet with warranty. This was NOT the case with XenonDepot, far from! After a quick call to Steve explaining what happened, he sent a replacement the very next day!!!

I don't normally give feedback with this sort of thing, but after my experience, Steve deserves huge kudos for the way he dealt with my concerns. Would I recommend XenonDepot to friends? YES. Would I buy from him again? MOST DEFINTELY!

I will also post up before/after pics when i get a chance... Thanks Steve. You have a very happy customer here in Oz!

Hello,

As per your post:

1) To place your order, you can do so directly online. Please order via this link:

Order by going to: www.XenonDepot.com/promo
Passcode: CLGB06

2) The main differences between the Xtreme line and XenonDepot line are:

- The Xtreme line uses Asian components whereas the XenonDepot line uses German made Philips components.
- The Xtreme line is geared for people that are more interested in colour temperature as opposed to light ouput.

Please view this link for information regarding colour temperature:

http://www.xenondepot.com/htec.php

Regards,

Steve
