Default Any Great Tinting Shops in OC?

Hey... does anyone know of any good Tint shops in Orange County, CA? And how much did you guys pay for it?

I'm looking to get my windows tinted this weekend or Friday.

THANKS!

I got mine done at SunShield in La Habra. Ceramic tint on all 5 windows about $190. Clear bra about $450. They use 3M, but they also have other options. Check them out.

wow, howd you get such a great price on ceramic tint? The clear bra price
was cheap too, did you get the full kit?

Got mine done at Sunshine Tint in Westminster, CA in Orange County. $180 for the standard material (don't recall what brand though). They screwed up my brake light and refused to replace it or compensate me for it. I had to drive to a Kragen's and spend $5. It's not that I had to pay for it, it's just their choosing to not fix something they broke. This was on my 04 Accord btw, not a Lexus

So yeah, I do NOT recommend them

I've had three cars done at Campbell Window Tinting on Warner in Huntington Beach. They did a good job on all of them.

I got the full kit that covers a third of the hood, the whole bumper, and the side mirrors. I don't have the lights covered (yet).

I'm sure that this is probably in another thread... and I've read about it a little... but can someone clarify the different types of tints and their essential purposes.

I think i've read about there being a ceramic tint, a metallic tint, and some others? dont really know.

Check out the Automotive Care and Detailing Forum on the main page. This should give you an idea of what to look for. Also, "Search" helps...

Tint Connection is Costa Mesa. I think I paid for $175 for 5 windows of 32% Solargard w/ lifetime warranty. These guys will also take off the front window tint for free if you ever get a fix-it ticket for your tint. The quality was A++++.
