Default G-Spyder Question

Hi,

Does anyone know the size of the front and rear wheels as well as the tire sizes Lexus uses by default?

^^^
I'm Sorry - But that is not correct for the 2006 IS

The sizes are as follows:

Rims & Tires

Front 18x8 - 225/40/18

Rear 18x8.5 - 255/40/18

Thanks

You quoted the 18"s with summer tires.

But is that the same for the G-Spiders? I'm pretty sure the G-Spiders are not staggered.

I asked this question in a thread awhile back, can't remember the name of it now, but someone responded that the Spiders do have 8.5 rears.

Perfect, that's what I was looking for. It seems there is a lot of confusion circling these wheels for some reason.

Thank you!

It may be because the ones for the GS300 are all 18x8.

I'm sorry, you were some how mis-informed...

If you purchase your car with 18" Summer Tires, you will get the 225/40 up front and 255/40 in the rears.. The summer wheels we all know are staggered...

If you upgrade to the G-Spiders or the ISP Modes.... while your purchasing the car new...
You will get the same sized staggered wheels.... So all they do @ the stealerships is swap out the tires and senors and re-install everthing on the cars..

Oh and they keep your summer wheels!!!!

Thanks

Default The RWD IS250/350's get the stagger...

but if you want to add them to the IS250 AWD then best to use the same setup all the way around like the GS.

No problem...

I researched the Spider Wheels heavily... I loved the look and the Graphite Polished Finish, but the flat surface design is what turned me away.. They look great in pics, but when I finally got one in my hands and test fitted it on my 2001 IS300... I was stunned on how flat they were.. .

So I went with the 2006 GS 18x8 optional Tourmalines... They look great on my IS and I get plenty of compliments on my New OEM Sporty & Luxury look...
