(I'd love to have bass strong enough to shake the mirror without getting muddy. )
Do you have nav or rain sensing wipers?

There appears to be a screw on the bottom of the mirror, only visible if you look directly up at it from the dash. I may try to tighten it down a bit.

Exactly, and that's not good!

As noted in my signature (at least if you are fluent in Lexus option codes ), I have both.

A MacGyver way of thinking. I like that!

Default Not just the stereo...

Dude, this thing vibrates a LOT with the stereo OFF and the sunroof opened while driving on the freeway...thats when i first noticed it. If you feel the window around the mirror while driving in this condition, you can feel it vibrating too. they need to figure out how to dampen this vibration some how. i wrote this all down in my survey from lexus and i would hope that everyone else will too so they will know there is a problem. this is my 4th lexus and i've never had this problem....so don't tell me that this is a problem with all of em. i wonder why it vibrates so much, some sort of aeordynamic issue? love this car, but thats one of the annoyances for me.

Yeah. It's not normal when just driving. I have the same problem on my IS. I installed an auto dimming mirror on my old RSX onto the windshield and it only vibrated when the bass was cranked up. And the RSX had a much rougher ride.

Mine dances even with the sunroof open and music off. I know some have their entire assembly swapped out. That may be the only fix. My dealership messed with mine, were even gonna swap it with the IS250's mirror from the loaner I had which did NOT vibrate, but Lexus told them the mirrors were different and so they recommended NOT switching!?
