Edmunds.com lists Lexus' Dealer Holdback for their cars being 2% of the base MSRP.

Do any of you guys know if Lexus dealerships still get the dealer holdback rebate on cars that are specially ordered? I would like to know this to help in negotiating.

If you think about it, when someone specially orders a car, it's like a "free" sale for the dealership, even if they have to do some work to get it ordered and shipped to the dealership. It's not like the car existed on their lots where someone else could buy it later if you didn't.

 

Whoops, forgot to mention that I am trying to purchase a Tungsten Pearl/Black IS350 with Premium Package.

 

Yes they do get the hold back on all cars. The only exception cars that are offered with special factory incentives (live 0% financing, previous model year, etc).
