when I saw this thread I laughed and said to my self I’m probably the only person to go from a celica to a 2IS. Lol I had purchased a 2001 celica for $600 to commute to work when gas prices were high. My avalanche was costing me way to much. Drove it for 4 years with minimal problems. That’s the reason I went with a Lexus.

Previous vehicle 2002 Toyota Tundra TRD. Sold at 260K miles was still running solid and in great condition. My phone blew up people wanting to buy it.

In June 2018, I bought a 2018 Honda Civic Si Sedan. 1.5L Turbocharged 205 HP with a 6 speed MT to replace my 2006 Toyota Camry SE 3.3L V6 that I gave to my daughter. Very fun car, handled well, and fast for such a small engine. Unfortunately driving a manual in traffic, and the harder ride took its toll, so in September of this year I sold it for $20K (I paid $22K, I had paid it off a couple of months before) and bought a 2010 IS 350 with a little over 52K miles for $19K. Never happier!

My IS 250 AWD replaced a workhorse 2005 Toyota Corolla. Prior to that I also had a 2003 Toyota Camry SE V6.

I still have the Corolla but I think I'll put it on the market. The Missus drives a 2011 Toyota Sienna 3.5L V6
