one quick q, is this only for front pairs?
if yes, how much is the cost for rear pairs?
also, this is OEM, right?

thank you.
Yes this is oem, yes this is only for the front pair (most people only do the front ones because the rear are really small, do NOT light up, and dont even say LEXUS on them, they are just a brushed alum. strip), and for the back two its about 120 shipped if I recall correctly. I did not get those so im not sure.

thank you once again.
i've read this thread for few days.
i've noticed some people having trouble with the "lexus" illuminating...
i'm not a tech person.. and afraid i'm gonna mess it up.
do i have to do lot of wiring?
is it possible for newbie to do this thing by himself?
please let me know...

also, when you order they don't have 2007 as year choice but that shouldn't be a problem, right?
2006 = 2007 interm of scuffs?

Dood... if you read throught this thread youll see that several people have already called and confirmed this PLUS MANY of us in here have already confirmed that by doing the install. I am one of those!

YES IT IS PLUG AND PLAY ON ALL 07 MODELS!

also yes the 06 and 07 use the same plates, and the only "issue" people have had is forgetting that the DOME light has to be set to turn on when the doors are open in order for the ISPs to light.

I doubt it. I have been thinking of trying that out on my old scuff plates (the ones I removed to install the ISPs) but the placements of the clips makes it so you dont have much room, and Id be very impressed if anyone could make something that looked even half as clean as the lexus ones...

Default Only for "sport package" equipped IS?

I'm about to buy an IS250, RWD...models in stock don't have the full package I want and don't have the illuminated door sills. I'm happy installing them myself, per thread, but came across this product note at Sewell, which says: "Illuminated Door Sill upgrade only applies to IS models equipped with Sport Package." What the heck is the "Sport Package"? I can't find that in the '07 product brochure as a package option.

Sport package is also called X-package I believe which comes with illuminated scuffs standard. But don't worry, it's been confirmed that all 07 IS's regardless of packages is just plug n play.

No, X-package and Sport Package are very different. They share some common items, but the Sports Package is way more comprehensive (and expensive) than the X-package.
