I am convinced that I saw a new IS with a completely black interior during my recent trip to a dealer. However, most new IS cars with black interior are not entirely black. Do you need to purchase a special package to get all black?

 

I got the black interior on mine, and it is not all black. The headliner is a cream color.

 

Other than some silver (and on the luxury package, wood) accents, the black interior is all black.

It's the other interior choices that have a two-tone look (e.g., the steering wheel is always black)

EDIT: As Payam pointed out, the headliner on my car is a cream color.

 

I ordered mine with black headliner.
The dealer did not know if the factory would honor the order but we will see in Feb.

 

My car has also cream... interesting... a page 7 shows the entire black interior (IS brochure).

No. there's no such thing. If you look at the previous IS300, the all black interior has a light gray headliner like all other black interior Toyota/Lexus models have. not cream.

 

i wish the headliner was black my gf got mascara on my headliner today. Anyone know how to get it off?

 

Use carpet foam (woolite or the generic safeway brand) and a toothbrush.

nope, not at all. my last vehicle was black interior and it wasn't that bad. sure the leather gets hot but all cars in kansas city get hot inside in the summertime. at least the is350 has cooler seats and auto-open all windows/sunroof.

 

black interior gets way too hot and takes too long to cool off.... i got sterling interior and it cools down in less than 50 seconds and i dont have to heated/cooled seats

 

I got all BLACK interior.

 

Not your headliner and pillar covers.
