I talked to my Lexus dealer (San Diego) about this and even to a master tech at great length. It appears to be an oversight in the design as no LPS setting exists to have AUTO re-circ enabled. They even talked to their Lexus corp buddies. Nothing! =( We are all stuck with pressing the air circulation button twice, everytime we start the engine.
