Anyone notice the IS 250 Prestige model in Australia comes with 16" alloys? I wonder if those are the ones in the white car in this pix...

I remember there was a drawing of 3 alloy wheel styles for the new IS during the release of the specs. But I never have seen that 6 spoke alloy (apart from that initial drawing) until now.

Also, notice the Sports model comes with Alcantra seats with seat heaters. Unusual...

 

the alcantara seats are disgusting, it feels like some kind of flannel. the entry level comes with leather seats, the sports one comes with alcantara and the sports luxury comes with leather seats again. i really have no idea why they doing this the dealer told me that the reason for the sports equips with alcantara is to prevent the driver and passengers "sway" whilst the car is driving fast, they said the driver will "sway" on the leather seats. what kinds of rubbish is that ?? i personally feel that lexus with flannel is not lexus anymore, it becomes toyota.

 

Probably not sway, but slide, if the seats are too slippery

 

but will Australia ever get the is 350!?
