2006 IS250 (bought the demo so I didn't have to wait til march to get one - Calgary Canada) Silver, 6SPD, 16's w/winters, cloth interior, base... if that's what you want to call it. I love my car. I can't stop giving people rides or sliding around corners listening to the beeping traction control.

I'm 27, Canadian, caucasian, 10lbs overweight, ...OK maybe 20, married for 6 yrs, no kids , contract graphic designer, saw this car because a buddy told me to check it out while I was thinking about getting an 05 Jetta GLi for 32K CDN.

I never thought I would step foot into a Lexus dealership since the stigma is that they are seriously high priced luxury and a bit of an "older mans car", until I realized that I could get a base IS250 for the same price as a loaded jetta and it's extremely young, sporty, luxurious... and sexy. Crazy thought - but I've been a VW guy my entire driving life. I was a little nervous to buy a Lexus since people might think I'm snobby or richer than I actually am (or clients thinking I charge them too much)

People give me props wherever I go, but I do get the odd, "ooh wow, business must be good" haha... Ah well... I absolutely love this car and looking forward to spending a lot of money on mods. It really doesn't need a lot, I just want to be unique.

...so in a nutshell, I would say Lexus did a fantastic job with getting a young enthusiast (very) interested in their product.

28 single 250 rwd loaded. Dam there are alot of young guys with 350 wish i had the extra 10000.
Instead im going to put that into upgrades. Rims, body kit, tweaking the engine, springs, system.
Ten grand should be able to do some good mods.
This car rocks congrats on everyone who bought the new IS and happy new years.

How did you get cloth interior. I didn't think there was even an option there for that. Not that I would have chosen it, but I didn't think it was available.

37 Male. Married a while, no children. Development. I had been wanting a Sport Sedan for quite some time. Up until the IS350, the only other choice would had been a BMW 3er. Having owned 3 Lexus vehicles, I was always put off by the 2 BMW dealerships here in the Dallas area. They are kinda crude buildings with known bad reputations on the service end. I first looked at the new GS300, but did not fall in love with the shape. I wanted somthing smaller, with a little tighter supension and sportier feel. But, at my age, I also had to have all of the goodies too. Lexus hit the Bulls Eye with me with the creation of this little machine. To get all this power, all this luxury and features and incredible interior and exterior styling with unbeateable quality and peace of mind...What a Terrific find! I can see why it appeals to so many demographics. Way to Go Lexus!!!!

Me I'm 43 male

Black/Black IS 350

This is the only car that fit my desire for sport, luxury, dependability and the ability to not beat me to death on these crappy Houston streets.
