I might also add that the wheel swap was recent, so I've got some OEM 18" wheels for sale. I'll post them up to the classifieds soonish.

Just picked up a new daily driver to get me to and from my new job.

2008 Fully loaded sport / navi package IS 250. Have already clocked 38 mi/gal consistently on the freeway.

It's a daily to replace this little guy..

Sick eclipse, stock boost or na-t? Love the color of your IS.

Not too familiar with DSM world, I don't know how to tell if it's a gst.

That's the factory turbo AWD model (GSX), although everything has been changed except the block itself and the head (all internals are no longer OEM).

We traded-in our cerulean blue 2011 Lexus RX350 AWD on September 3rd so we could downsize due to our daughters rarely riding with us anymore. We also wanted to downsize our payments so we picked up a smoky granite mica 2011 Lexus IS350. I don't have any decent images of it right now but it pretty much looks like every other one out there. It has the following:
1. 18" liquid graphite finish alloy wheels
2. navigation with all that extra stuff added for the year
3. premium package value edition which is just the heated/ventilated seats, perforated leather seat upgrade, wood interior trim
4. rear lip spoiler
5. and the best part, the preferred accessory package which has the cargo net, trunk mat, wheel locks and rear bumper applique
As I have posted elsewhere, I recently exited the MINI community after a huge falling out with MINI USA and the dealer network. Even though this is my wife's car, I'm always the driver when we're together so I get my MINI level performance fix. Also, this is our 4th Lexus and I just hope they have a strong desire to keep us. So far, they have.

Back in July, of this year, I decided to sell my '01 IS300. It sold in 2 days, and since then I and my husband have been on the hunt for something newer. We found this fully loaded '06 IS350 down in Miami last week but I was afraid it may have been out of the question. Today we took the 4 hour trip down to I thought look at a few cars at another dealership. Little did I know my husband purchased the IS350 for me on Wednesday and I was about to get the surprise of a lifetime!

The old...

The new...
*18" Lexus Rims
*Lexus Aero Package
*FUJITA Performance Air Intake
*Custom Tail Lights
*Power Rear Shade
*DVD Command Navigation
*Rear-view Backup Camera
*Tinted Windows
*Rear Spoiler

Hi all,
We just picked up this baby on Labor Day. The dealership offered to pay off the balance on my gas guzzling Ford Truck so that was the deal breaker. It's been sitting in the garage chilling for almost a week now due to me just recently having back surgery.

fatttu,

It's interesting that you downsized fron the RX350 to the IS350. We just purchased a 2011 fully loaded IS350 and now want to trade in the mini-van for an RX350!

There was no great and wonderful reason we traded our '10 RX AWD for the IS350. We absolutely loved all 3 of our RX's. The family purchasing our last one will be getting a year and a half old vehicle in near showroom condition with a hair over 11,000 miles on it. Immaculate interior, no door dings, oil changed every 5k, and probably only driven in the rain a couple of times. Oh, and it only has that many miles on it because of 2 long family trips.

The main reasons are that our older daughter is out of the house and our younger daughter is about to start driving. We just don't need the space. When our older daughter started driving, she was rarely ever taxied around by us anymore so I know it will happen with the younger one. Also, we're saving a little over $200.00 per which will help with the payments on what ever the younger daughter ends up getting.

I recommend the RX to those needing or just wanting a luxury SUV but again, our family's need for one has run its course.

Thanks for the feedback on the RX. It sounds like a great SUV for hauling around our 4 little dogs, they don't get to be taxied in the new IS350!
