Default My dealer's allocation ...sucks!

Very disappointed with the build...
Here is the 1st allocation of "IS" vehicles we are getting in stock.

IS250 (RWD) Crystal White with sterling (gray) interior

Options = Premium plus pkg, Intuitive parking assist + preferred accessory pkg

IS250 (AWD) Glacier Frost Mica with sterling (gray) interior

Options = Intuitive Parking Assist

IS350 (RWD) Matador Red Mica with sterling (gray) interior

Options = 18" alloy wheels with summer tires, Navigation system, Intuitive Parking Assist + Headlamp washers

Glad that I have deposits with two dealers!

Don't blame the dealer, blame the region that allocates the cars to the dealer.

Did I blame the dealer??? No! They have no control over the allotment. Lexus is sending them cars that make no sense for the N.E. ie: summer tires and 250 rwd. Hopefully my other dealer will have a larger allotment with what I am looking for: IS350, Nav and prem lux plus.

If the NJ dealers have their 350 allocations, I want to bug my sales guy.

Well the good news is that this is the first time (I think) that we hear of Parking Assist coming in on the 1st allocation.

Whoa calm down, it's just the internet. Your initial thread title saying "My dealer's allocation ...sucks!" explains your frustration, which I totally understand. But i was only explaining in a general sense of why this is and where the orders are made through. Most people don't know this and I was explaining it for peopel to understand. If you think about it, majority of the first IS300's that were sent to the N.E. region were 17" Summer Tire vehicles when they were first released. Why this is...I have no idea. I'm with you it makes no sense, but then again we're talking about a Luxury sports sedan here.

If you placed your order with a larger dealership, you'll have a better chance of getting close to what you want. Larger volume dealers will get more cars in their allocations.
Good luck.
